• Patient Participation Group Meetings

  A PPG is a selection of patients of all ages and sexes, religious beliefs and ethnicities. The PPG represents all categories of patients that are registered with the practice. Our last PPG meeting took place at WMC meeting room on March 28th 2012. Local Practice Survey results were discussed.

  Fortunately, there weren't any issues addressed at the local practice survey. Some patients had mentioned that they are not happy with our 0844 number, however, it was agreed that it is better to have an 0844 number than having to call back the surgery every time the line is busy.

  PPG were informed of our opening hours and out of hours providers. Patients were pleased to hear that they can see their doctor late in the evening if they wish so.

  Recruitment for PPG meeting - patients were informed via email, telephone, posters and leaflets both at the reception and in clinical rooms. Unfortunately, patients weren't interested in representing Wandsworth Medical Centre PPG in any other meetings, however, we are positive that in our next PPG meeting (June 2012) we will be elect a PPG lead.

  You can now book & cancel appointments and request repeat prescriptions 24 hours a day.
